About Finalfrontier

Remix Distribution the FinalFrontier is an electronic music production company located in Rome, Italy.

Its activity started back in 1993 together with the shop Remix, being the first specialized distributor for experimental electronic dance music in Italy.

The company has been lead by Marco Passarani and Andrea Benedetti until 1999, when Andrea left and Marco became the only owner. Remix Distribution the Final Frontier brought a lot of new labels in Italy, as far as becoming the leader company in distributing electronic underground dance music. Names that Remix brought in Italy for the first time include Skam, Underground Resistance, Viewlexx, Klang, Playhouse, Clone, Schematic, Chocolate Industries, Ifach, Kompakt, SCSI, Serotonin, Interdimensional Transmission, Profan, Trope, Cheap, Bpitch Control, Ersatz Audio, and many others.

While importing every new good labels that were out there, Remix Distribution was producing labels such as Nature Records and Plasmek, getting support from all the electronic dance network around the globe: since 1993 Remix Distribution produced more than 40 records bringing the electronic music made in Rome to the attention of many people.

While the company is now only taking care of production and management of its artists, it's still helping many labels to get a proper distribution deal in Italy.
